Overturned big rig blocks 210 Freeway lanes in Monrovia

A big rig overturned and blocked three lanes on the 210 Freeway through Monrovia as motorists commuted through rainy conditions Tuesday morning.

The crash was reported in the eastbound lanes near Huntington Drive around 2:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The right three lanes were blocked through the area, prompting officials to issue a SigAlert.

There was no word on what caused the big rig to overturn or if the crash may have been weather-related.

Several boxes the truck was carrying had fallen out at some point during the incident and were seen on the freeway.

Crews managed to finally upright the big rig but the truck and debris were still in lanes as of 6:30 a.m.

It was unclear when the freeway would completely reopen.

Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes.

Hospital needs help identifying man found unconscious in downtown Los Angeles

A hospital needs help identifying a male patient who was found injured and unconscious in downtown Los Angeles.

The man is believed to be in his 30s, according to the Los Angeles General Medical Center. 

He was found injured on the ground on Omar Street and has been hospitalized since June 22.

He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 176 pounds. He has brown eyes, dark brown hair and tattoos across his upper body.

He did not have any personal belongings to help staff identify him or contact loved ones. Workers did not disclose the nature of his injuries.
