Overturned big rig blocks 210 Freeway lanes in Monrovia
A big rig overturned and blocked three lanes on the 210 Freeway through Monrovia as motorists commuted through rainy conditions Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported in the eastbound lanes near Huntington Drive around 2:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The right three lanes were blocked through the area, prompting officials to issue a SigAlert.
There was no word on what caused the big rig to overturn or if the crash may have been weather-related.
Several boxes the truck was carrying had fallen out at some point during the incident and were seen on the freeway.
Crews managed to finally upright the big rig but the truck and debris were still in lanes as of 6:30 a.m.
It was unclear when the freeway would completely reopen.
Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes.
