Man caught on video abusing puppy arrested in Orange County

A man who was caught on video violently kicking a puppy in Anaheim was arrested earlier this week, authorities said.
According to an update posted to social media by the Anaheim Police Department, the original incident occurred on April 7.
Video footage shows the man, identified as Joseph Michael Sanders, holding the puppy in his arms before tossing it in the air and kicking it.
Sanders was arrested on Thursday and booked into the Anaheim Police Department Detention Facility for felony animal cruelty, the department said on Facebook.
As of Friday, detectives were still searching for the puppy, as it has not been found since the incident. No information regarding the breed of dog was immediately available.

Hospital needs help identifying man found unconscious in downtown Los Angeles
A hospital needs help identifying a male patient who was found injured and unconscious in downtown Los Angeles.
The man is believed to be in his 30s, according to the Los Angeles General Medical Center.
He was found injured on the ground on Omar Street and has been hospitalized since June 22.
He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 176 pounds. He has brown eyes, dark brown hair and tattoos across his upper body.
He did not have any personal belongings to help staff identify him or contact loved ones. Workers did not disclose the nature of his injuries.
