Downtown L.A.’s $1.6B Angels Landing project gets city approval

A $1.6 billion mixed-use high-rise undertaking deliberate for downtown Los Angeles has obtained key metropolis approvals, builders introduced Monday.

The Angels Touchdown undertaking obtained so-called entitlements to construct, in line with Don Peebles of The Peebles Corp. and Victor MacFarlane of MacFarlane Companions.

The undertaking shall be positioned in downtown’s Bunker Hill space and have two towers and a plaza subsequent to the historic Angels Flight funicular railway.

The undertaking will embody 1.2 million sq. toes (111,484 sq. meters) and embrace two motels, condominiums, flats, eating places and retail.

Progress on the Angels Touchdown undertaking was reported as a Frank Gehry-designed mixed-use growth in downtown, The Grand LA, is nearing completion throughout Grand Avenue from the Walt Disney Live performance Corridor.
