Amber Alert issued for boy and girl abducted in California
An Amber Alert was issued early Monday morning for help finding two children believed to have been abducted by a woman in California’s Tulare County.
Gage Morrellie, 5, and Paizlee Morrelli, 6, were taken from South Front Street and Avenue 48 in the city of Earlimart around 12:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol posted on X.
Authorities are searching for 29-year-old suspect Makenzie Morrelli in connection with the abduction. The CHP did not specify her relationship to the children.
Makenzie Morrelli was last seen driving a dark blue Scion tC with California plate 6SQA269.
Makenzie Morrelli was described as standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black hoodie and jeans.
Gage Morrelli is 3 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 45 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a red, tan and black flannel shirt and blue jeans.
Paizlee Morrelli is 3 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 50 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and tan pants with black hearts.
The Amber Alert was initially issued for Tulare Kern, Kings and Fresno Counties. Anyone who may see the vehicle or know the whereabouts of the woman and children was asked to dial 911.

Hospital needs help identifying man found unconscious in downtown Los Angeles
A hospital needs help identifying a male patient who was found injured and unconscious in downtown Los Angeles.
The man is believed to be in his 30s, according to the Los Angeles General Medical Center.
He was found injured on the ground on Omar Street and has been hospitalized since June 22.
He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 176 pounds. He has brown eyes, dark brown hair and tattoos across his upper body.
He did not have any personal belongings to help staff identify him or contact loved ones. Workers did not disclose the nature of his injuries.
Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call clinical social worker Cesar Robles at 323-409-6885.
The public can also call the L.A. General Medical Center’s Department of Social Work at 323-409-5253 or, after hours from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m., call 323-409-6883. On weekends, call 323-409-5254.
