HOUSTON — A report a couple of suspicious car ended early Saturday with a brazen SUV theft and one shot fired by an off-duty police captain, authorities mentioned.

It occurred round 3 a.m. within the 700 block of Preston Avenue.

Safety personnel alerted the captain, who works for the Aldine ISD Police Division, to a suspicious car within the constructing’s parking storage, based on Houston police.

The captain confronted the suspects who had been stealing an SUV, police mentioned. He fired as soon as on the car as they sped towards him.
