ALVIN, Texas — A motorbike chase spanning practically 50 miles got here to an finish Thursday at a house outdoors of Alvin, and officers have surrounded the property after the rider disappeared.

The chase started with a theft name within the Heights space within the 1500 block of Northwood Road round 12:30 p.m., authorities mentioned. The motorcyclist took off and reached speeds of as much as 100 mph throughout the chase.
