MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Shortly after WVU’s 30-10 win over North Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl, WVU redshirt junior bandit Jared Bartlett hinted that game would be his last as a Mountaineer.

On Friday, Bartlett announced that he will be entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Bartlett joined the Mountaineers in 2019. He played in four games that season, preserving a redshirt year. Bartlett played in 10 games during the 2020 COVID season. His eligibility clock started in 2021 and over the next three seasons, Bartlett played in 36 more games.
This season, Bartlett played in all 13 games. He made 49 tackles (6 for loss) and he collected 4.5 sacks. Bartlett has one season of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer.
