Two men arrested in separate homicides, D.C. police say

D.C. police have made arrests in two separate homicides, one earlier this month within the Fairlawn neighborhood and the opposite in August close to Gallery Place in Chinatown.

D.C police on Wednesday night stated they arrested Garland Davis, 64, in connection to the dying of Johnathan Craig.

Craig, 34, was fatally stabbed March 9 within the 1600 block of seventeenth Place, Southeast.

A witness instructed police that Davis stabbed Craig contained in the witness’s bed room, after Davis had requested the witness in the event that they wished to be with him and the witness replied, “No, I’m relationship [Craig]”, in keeping with charging paperwork.

Davis’s lawyer couldn’t be instantly reached.

Henry was fatally shot Aug. 25 close to the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro station. On the time, Henry’s mom, reached at her dwelling in Charlotte, stated that her son had not been within the D.C. space for lengthy and he or she knew nothing in regards to the taking pictures.

There was no lawyer listed for Brooks in court docket data. His kin couldn’t be instantly reached.
