Tickets Are On Sale For Georgetown Wine & Dine 2023 At Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC

While there’s no shortage of culinary festivals, many are overshadowed by lackluster ticketed events, standoffish talent, and mobs of hungry guests—which is why celebrated chef Michael Mina launched Georgetown Wine & Dine last year. Since the event was received with such a positive response, it’s returning this fall on November 2 and 3 at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, with proceeds benefitting the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital.

“Georgetown Wine & Dine was created to be a different type of food festival, one that is elevated and intimate,” Mina explains of the concept. “Guests will have unfettered access to participating chefs and winemakers, something you can’t get anywhere else. They’ll also have the opportunity to sample rare wines and enjoy dishes directly from the hands of renowned chefs.”

Speaking of which, the upcoming lineup is more impressive than ever, with a thoughtful, diverse representation of national and local talent. Guests can expect to savor bites from and mingle with New York City’s Hillary Sterling (Ci Siamo, Eat Cayenne), Miami’s Brad Kilgore (Alter, MaryGold’s Brasserie), Washington, DC’s Yuan Tang (Rooster & Owl), and New Orleans’ Nina Compton (Compere Lapin, Bywater American Bistro), who is “excited to cook with chefs I have admired over the years, and bring a touch of Creole-flavored happiness to our nation’s capital.”

The two-day event will be filled with special winemaker tastings, expert-led classes, and intimate gatherings such as a lavish welcome reception with hors d’oeuvres and libations galore, and culminates with the marquis event: the Fine Wines & Celebrity Chefs Dinner, where eight exquisite courses prepared by each chef will be complemented by a host winery’s curated pairing.
