Mayor Bowser to Kick Off Annual 202Creates Month with Celebration at the Wharf

Washington, DC – On Thursday, September 1, at 6 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Workplace of Cable Tv, Movie, Music, and Leisure will kick off 202Creates, the annual month-long celebration of DC’s entrepreneurial and inventive communities. The celebration will embody reside performances, DJs, musical and creative activations, and extra.

Mayor Bowser launched 202Creates in September 2016 to have fun DC’s vibrant artistic neighborhood, which incorporates musicians, performing artists, filmmakers, tech entrepreneurs, culinary and cosmetology industries, sports activities, leisure, style, visible artists, manufacturing help firms, and inventive entrepreneurs who contribute to town’s artistic economic system.
