Mayor Bowser and Council of the District of Columbia to Host 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

Washington, DC – On Sunday, September 11, at 12 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser, the Council of the District of Columbia, DC Hearth and EMS (FEMS) Chief John A. Donnelly, Sr., and Worldwide Affiliation of Firefighters Native 36 President Dabney Hudson will host a remembrance ceremony in recognition of the September 11, 2001 terrorist assaults.
 
The Mayor, DC Councilmembers, Hearth and EMS Chief Donnelly, and President Hudson will honor the bravery of the primary responders who served that day and since September 11 and pay tribute to the lives misplaced.
 
Ward 3 Councilmember Mary Cheh and different councilmembers in attendance will current a proclamation on behalf of the Council of the District of Columbia commemorating the twenty first Anniversary of the September 11 terrorist assaults and the necessary function that first responders play in defending the residents and guests of the District of Columbia.
 
A second of silence may even happen in remembrance of the DC residents and the DC Public College academics, college students and Nationwide Geographic Society members who perished within the assaults.
