Man Shot at Apartment Complex Fitness Center Near George Washington University

A person was shot at a health heart in an condominium complicated house to many George Washington College college students in Northwest D.C. on Sunday, authorities stated. 

The taking pictures occurred at round 3 p.m. on the Columbia Plaza Flats within the 2400 block of Virginia Avenue NW within the Foggy Backside neighborhood, a number of blocks from George Washington College.

Minutes later, an alert was despatched out to residents of the condominium complicated, warning them in regards to the gunfire and asking them to remain indoors.

“I’ve pals on this constructing, pals down the highway. They’re just a little shooken up. A few of them had been locking doorways within the campus itself,” resident Mitchell Lewis stated. 

The sufferer was taken to the hospital and is acutely aware and respiration.

Although the condominium constructing will not be on-campus housing, many residents, like Lewis, are college students.
