D.C. Police say a person has been arrested and charged in reference to a double homicide within the southeast.
WASHINGTON – D.C. police say a person has been arrested and charged in reference to a double homicide within the southeast.
Officers say 41-year-old James Jones was arrested Monday. Investigators say Jones shot and killed 57-year-old David Wright and 54-year-old Nathaniel Howard Sunday afternoon within the 3300 block of D Road.
Each males died on the scene. A motive has not but been decided.
Jones faces two counts of second diploma homicide whereas armed. Officers say a firearm was recovered on the time of his arrest. Detectives consider Jones and victims had been identified to one another.
The investigation is constant at the moment.
