Local veterans take off on Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) — The Better St. Louis Honor Flight took off from Lambert Airport early Tuesday morning for its a hundred and first mission.

The flight carried two World Battle II veterans, 19 Korean Battle veterans, and 37 Vietnam Battle veterans. The veterans flew out to go to every of their warfare memorials within the nation’s capital in addition to the Altering of the Guard at Arlington Nationwide Cemetery.

The veterans are set to return to Lambert Airport round 8 p.m. Tuesday. The subsequent flight is June 6, which is D-Day. Anheuser-Busch will sponsor that flight.
