Iowa veterans visit memorials in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON (Grey DC) – Practically 90 Iowa veterans made the journey to Washington, D.C. on Tuesday with the Jap Iowa Honor Flight group.

The group visited the memorials constructed to honor veterans of World Battle II, the Korean Battle, and Vietnam Battle.

Iowa veteran Dan Moyle mentioned, “It’s a it’s an amazing factor to have the ability to serve your nation for one factor. And to be appreciated is one other factor, and that’s that’s all we ever ask for.”

This flight included 75 Vietnam Battle veterans, 9 Korean Battle veterans, and 4 veterans who served in each wars. It’s the second Jap Iowa Honor Flight of 2022.
