WASHINGTON D.C. (WRIC) — Past King Tut: The Immersive Expertise is opening this Friday, June 17 on the Nationwide Geographic Museum in Washington D.C.

The exhibit will unlock the three,300-year-old story of the kid king in an evolution of immersive present experiences.

Video projections and soundscapes will transport friends to modern-day Egypt, and again in time to the 18th dynasty when King Tut dominated and gods like Ra and Anubis have been worshiped by all.

Providing a journey to King Tut’s tomb itself, the exhibit opens on the 100-year anniversary of the tombs discovery.
