Civilians killed in Bucha commemorated in Washington, D.C.
Dozens of activists holding Ukrainian and U.S. flags, posters and chanting slogans gathered exterior the White Home in Washington, D.C. on Sunday to honor the reminiscence of the civilians killed by the Russians within the Ukrainian city of Bucha.
The occasion was held by the charitable group US Ukrainian Activists (USUA), an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Bucha is likely one of the most affected Ukrainian cities, it turned the epitome of Russian crimes of an unprecedented scale. After the city was liberated, when Ukrainian defenders found many tortured our bodies of civilians, the entire world noticed what the Russian Federation leaves behind,” mentioned Nadia Shaporynska, USUA president and organizer of the occasion.
She emphasised that the Bucha bloodbath was, the truth is, one of many first examples of conflict crimes and crimes towards humanity dedicated by Russian troops.
“The entire world is horrified by the atrocities of the Russian occupiers in Bucha, Irpin, Mariupol, Izium, Kherson, Borodianka, and different Ukrainian cities,” Shaporynska emphasised.
The rally contributors referred to as on the U.S. administration to acknowledge Russia as a terrorist state and to help the creation of a Particular Tribunal for Russia to carry all perpetrators to account and set up justice.
They prayed and honored the reminiscence of all of the victims of the genocide that Russia continues to commit towards the individuals of Ukraine.
