Boulder Police Department in Washington D.C. Friday to honor Officer Eric Talley and other fallen officers

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Boulder Police Division is in Washington D.C. Friday to honor Officer Eric Talley and different fallen officers.

In accordance with NLEOMF, annually, tons of of names of officers killed within the line of responsibility are engraved on the partitions of the Nationwide Legislation Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC. These names are then learn aloud in the course of the annual Candlelight Vigil to memorialize those that made the last word sacrifice.

Chief Maris Herold, Deputy Chief Redfearn and several other members of the Boulder Police Division are in Washington, D.C. this week to honor and pay tribute to fallen Officer Eric Talley, who was shot and killed alongside 9 others in a mass capturing at a Boulder King Soopers in March 2021.

This 12 months marks the thirty fourth Annual Candlelight Vigil, which can happen tonight on the Nationwide Mall in our nation’s Capital. The vigil will begin at 6 p.m. Mountain Time and may be watched by way of livestream on these platforms:
