Arkansas welcomed hundreds of motorcycle riders on their way to Washington D.C.
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Residents of Russellville welcomed a whole lot of motorbike riders Sunday afternoon as they cross the nation destined for the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C.
A lunch was held on the Veterans Memorial Park on Lakefront Drive.
The mission of the 32nd Run For The Wall is to honor and keep in mind these killed or lacking in motion throughout the Vietnam Battle and to convey consciousness to prisoners of battle who stay unaccounted for.
“From the arms that ready meals to site visitors management, all of our emergency companies, all of our are veterans teams are acknowledged and represented right here at this time and it’s an honor to face right here at this time as a veteran and acknowledge those that are supporting veterans,” Choose Bencross mentioned.
An estimated 260 veterans are touring with the run from Los Angeles to the nation’s capitol, spending the evening in Forrest Metropolis.
In complete the journey takes 10 days and covers 3,000 miles.
