Air Force Suspends 2 Commanders From Unit Where Alleged Pentagon Leaker Worked

Two commanders within the army unit during which leak suspect Jack Teixeira labored have been suspended, the Air Power mentioned Wednesday.

The commander of the 102nd Intelligence Help Squadron and a detachment commander had been suspended, Air Power spokesperson Ann Stefanek mentioned.

They had been suspended “pending additional investigation into the unauthorized disclosure of categorised data,” the Air Power mentioned.

Teixeira, a Massachusetts Air Nationwide Guardsman, was arrested April 13 in reference to the investigation of categorised paperwork that had been leaked on the web.

Teixeira is alleged to have used the web discussion board Discord to share the leaked data along with his small neighborhood of on-line mates and to have taken pictures of paper paperwork that he might have smuggled out of a safe facility.
