99th Honor Flight departs for Washington D.C.
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – A brand new group of native veterans will embark on a visit that they’ll always remember.
The 99th Larger St. Louis Honor flight headed to the nation’s capital at 5:30 Tuesday. The veterans and their relations are ready to board.
The mission of the distinction flight is to carry World Struggle II, Korean struggle, and Vietnam Struggle veterans to Washington, D.C. To go to the memorials constructed to honor their service and sacrifice.
There are 56 veterans on this flight. Right here’s the breakdown:

- 37 Vietnam Struggle veterans
