The newly-recognized eating places haven’t earned any Michelin Stars or its Bib Gourmand award. Fairly, the additions are supposed to showcase the D.C. eating places Michelin inspectors previously yr “discovered too good to maintain a secret.”



The brand new additions, in alphabetical order are:

  • Bar Spero at 250 Massachusetts Avenue, NW: Modern delicacies
  • Causa at 920 Blagden Alley, NW: Peruvian delicacies
  • La Tejana at 3211 Mt. Nice Road, NW: Mexican delicacies
  • Mandu at 453 Ok Road, NW: Korean delicacies
  • Opal at 5534 Connecticut Avenue, NW: American delicacies
  • New Heights at 2317 Calvert Road, NW: American delicacies
  • St. James at 2017 14th Road, NW: Caribbean delicacies
  • Tigerella at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW: Italian delicacies

The Michelin Bib Gourmand and Michelin Star bulletins come out this spring.

In 2022, Michelin added 4 new one-star eating places to its D.C. information: Albi, Imperfecto, Oyster Oyster, and Reverie.

In all, 24 D.C. eating places within the 2022 Michelin Information had star standing, together with The Inn at Little Washington, the one top-rated three-star restaurant.
