Mary Virginia Kundus 1930-2022

Mary Virginia was born Could 14, 1930, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Mary Virginia Gaffney McIntee.

Raised in Struthers, Mary Virginia was a graduate of Struthers Excessive College, Class of 1949. A devoted homemaker and single mom, Mary Virginia raised her three youngsters, Jim, Tim (Scott) and Susan Marucci, whereas working on the Greenback Financial institution, downtown Youngstown, the clerical division of Truscon Metal, and lastly, her father’s firm, McIntee Motors, the place she labored within the components division.

An avid bridge participant, Mary Virginia reached the extent of Life Grasp. She was a member of the South Aspect Bridge Membership, and for a few years, taught bridge for quite a few cruise traces. Along with her dad and mom and husband, Mary Virginia was preceded in demise by her daughter, Susan Marucci; grandson, James Marucci; brother, Thomas P. McIntee Jr; and a nephew, Thomas P. McIntee III.

Mary Virginia’s household will obtain mates from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, on the Davidson-Becker Funeral Dwelling in Struthers. A prayer service can be held on the funeral residence at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, adopted by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, with the Rev. Phillip Rogers officiating.
