Cross, Biddison help Virginia Tech beat Wright St. 15-9

BLACKSBURG, Va.

Gavin Cross went 5-for-6 with a double, a house run and 5 RBIs and top-seeded Virginia Tech beat No. 4 seed Wright State 15-9 Friday night time on the Blacksburg Regional.

Virginia Tech performs No. 3 seed Columbia within the semifinals after Wright State performs second-seeded Gonzaga in a loser-out sport Saturday.
