Amber Alert canceled after Va. teen found safe

ATKINS, Va. (Grey Information) – An Amber Alert issued for a 14-year-old Virginia woman, who was allegedly kidnapped, was canceled after she was discovered protected.

The Smyth County Sheriff’s Workplace stated 14-year-old Julia Ashcroft was protected in a Fb put up. An Amber Alert had been issued for {the teenager} early Sunday morning after she was allegedly kidnapped from Atkins, Virginia.

The Amber Alert recognized 28-year-old Michael Buchanan as a suspect in Julia’s alleged abduction. The sheriff’s workplace stated on Fb that the suspect was in custody.
