Texas teen fatally shoots another while playing with gun

HOUSTON (KIAH) — A household pleads for solutions after their liked one was shot and killed Saturday morning after an adolescent was allegedly taking part in with a gun.

Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Workplace stated 18-year-old Nariah Champion was killed at an condominium in south Harris County.

When deputies arrived on the Brookside Backyard Residences, positioned at 3525 S. Sam Houston Parkway East, they discovered Champion wounded by a gunshot to the stomach and was taken by a non-public car to the hospital.

Pearland police later advised Harris County deputies that the car that was transporting Champion was concerned in a one-car crash a few mile from the hospital. A great Samaritan helped get Champion to Memorial Hermann-Pearland Hospital, however she was pronounced lifeless when she arrived.

Deputies stated 17-year-old Zakorian Batiste was charged with manslaughter after deputies say he was taking part in with a loaded gun that went off and fired a shot into Champion’s abdomen.
