Former Seattle Seahawks security Earl Thomas was arrested Friday, greater than two weeks after a warrant was issued following his alleged violation of a court docket protecting order.

An arrest warrant for Thomas was issued on April 27 in Austin, Texas, after police stated he violated the protecting order by sending threatening messages to a girl about her and her kids, the Austin American-Statesman reported final week.
