Two weather site outages reported in Middle Tennessee
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two weather sites in the Middle Tennessee area are down.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the Lawrenceburg and Centerville weather sites are down.
A representative for NWS in Nashville said on Friday the outage was due to problems with the phone circuit. They added that they don’t have a timeline for when the sites will be restored.
For now, the Clifton, TN National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) WX radio transmitter at 162.550 can be used for people in the outage area.
