Tennessee
Titans opening odds: Tennessee opens as 3.5-point underdog against Texans
This is the second time these two teams will play in the span of two weeks. The Tennessee Titans lost the first meeting 19-16 in overtime. C.J. Stroud missed that game with a concussion. He did not play this week in the Houston Texans 36-22 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He’s still in concussion protocol, but my guess is that he will clear the protocol before the game this weekend.
Will Levis was injured in the first match-up between these two and did not play in the 20-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He was able to log a limited practice on Friday, so there is a chance we get to see Stroud vs. Levis on Sunday in Houston.
The line for this game opened at Titans +3.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook. It will be interesting to see if the line moves at all based on which quarterback(s) is/are available for this game. It’s a huge game for the Texans who are in a three-way tie at the top of the division at 8-7. We said all offseason that 10-7 would probably win this division. It turns out we were right. It’s a shame the Titans won’t be the team that does it.
