Titans acquiring OL Dennis Daley in trade with Panthers

The Tennessee Titans are reportedly including offensive lineman Dennis Daley by way of a commerce with the Carolina Panthers.

Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Titans are sending a 2024 fifth-round decide to Carolina in change for Daley and a 2024 seventh-round decide.

A former sixth-round decide of the Panthers in 2019, Daley has appeared in 34 video games (21 begins) throughout his profession.

In 2021, he appeared in 15 video games (9 begins) and allowed three sacks in 573 offensive snaps. He posted Professional Soccer Focus grades of 36.4 and 61.3 in pass-blocking and run-blocking, respectively.

Daley, who will slot in as a backup, gives versatility, as he can play each guard and deal with.

The Titans including one other depth possibility is a transparent indication they aren’t pleased with their present choices, which comes as no shock after the reserves struggled mightily in the course of the preseason.

The Titans will finalize their 53-man roster by 4 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, after which will put the apply squad collectively on Wednesday. After that, Tennessee will start the common season on Sept. 11 in opposition to the New York Giants.
