The Tennessee Titans have parted methods with 5 gamers to carry their roster right down to 85 in what’s the first of three rounds of cuts forward of the 2022 season.
The 5 gamers embody operating again Jordan Wilkins, large receiver Josh Malone, defensive again Deante Burton, defensive lineman Haskell Garrett and offensive lineman Carson Inexperienced.
Though none of those gamers are a serious shock, Malone would qualify because the closest factor to it. The Tennessee product had a great spring and figured to a minimum of stick round a bit longer than this.
Garrett was somebody we pegged as considered one of Tennessee’s undrafted free agent signings with the perfect probability to make the roster. Appears like we missed on that one.
After Tuesday, the Titans will make two extra rounds of cuts. Tennessee will trim its roster from 85 to 80 on Aug. 23, after which from 80 to 53 on Aug. 30.
Forward of their subsequent preseason recreation on Saturday evening, the Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will maintain joint practices on Wednesday and Thursday.
