Boston School (9-1) defeated No. 2 Tennessee (11-3), 7-6 in 10 innings, at Lindsey Nelson Stadium on Tuesday.
The win is Boston School’s ninth consecutive. Pitcher Matthew Nunan (1-0) earned the victory for the Eagles.
Forward of enjoying Tennessee, Boston School recorded a sequence sweep at Kennesaw State, whereas profitable two contests in a three-game sequence at Pepperdine. The Eagles defeated Bucknell, Canisius and Rutgers in Charleston, South Carolina.
Tennessee entered Tuesday’s contest with an 11-game win-streak.
