Prediction
Tennessee basketball’s SEC Championship hunt gets real serious on Wednesday night as they host Bruce Pearl and Auburn in a critical conference matchup.
In some ways, this feels like a bad matchup for Tennessee. Auburn big man Johni Broome is one of the SEC’s best players and he’s the exact type of player that’s given Tennessee trouble all season. He’s a physical and skilled low post scorer who can step out to the three-point line and hit a triple. Think of a smaller Hunter Dickinson.
But on the other side, Auburn’s guard play has been really shaky this season and that’s unsurprisingly led to some issues on the road this season.
I’ll roll with Tennessee and its elite guard play to get the job done at home.
