A stolen vehicle report led to the arrest of two South Carolina homicide suspects in Lower Paxton Township on Sunday afternoon, according to police.

Latesha Fields, 31, and Payton Deal, 27, of South Carolina, were arrested at 4:20 p.m. at the Quality Inn Hotel at 200 North Mountain Road after police discovered they were linked to a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Charlotte, North Carolina, according to Lower Paxton Township police.

Before the arrest, the stolen vehicle was located at 1:10 p.m. in the parking lot of the hotel, police said. The vehicle was also unoccupied when they discovered it and learned it was stolen from North Carolina.

Investigations led to them discovering that Fields and Deal are suspects in a recent homicide in Duncan, South Carolina, according to police. Both are also wanted for other felony charges involving weapons and grand larceny from South Carolina, police said.
