No. 1 South Carolina vs. No. 11 UConn today: How to watch women’s basketball powers for free
COLUMBIA, South Carolina — There may not be two bigger blue-bloods in women’s college basketball than the UConn Huskies and South Carolina Gamecocks. Their head coaches, Geno Auriemma and Dawn Staley, are arguably the biggest titans in today’s college basketball landscape, men’s or women’s. So you know when they meet up for today’s 2 p.m. Eastern tipoff on ESPN there will be plenty on the line.
Several streaming services will broadcast the game live and you can watch for free on Fubo and DirecTV Stream, or on Sling, which features promotional offers.
Staley is 9-4 against UConn since her arrival at South Carolina in 2008, but the Gamecocks have won those four games in their last five meetings against the Huskies. That includes last season’s matchup that resulted in the two legendary coaches exchanging some not so friendly words after the game.
With South Carolina’s MiLaysia Fulwiley and UConn’s Paige Bueckers slated to go head-to-head as well, Sunday’s matchup is sure to be one for the books.
