Miramar police seek South Carolina woman in deadly hit-and-run crash

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Miramar police are looking for a South Carolina lady as an individual of curiosity in a lethal hit-and-run crash over the weekend.

The crash occurred at round 2:15 a.m. Sunday within the 6500 block of Pembroke Street.

In accordance with authorities, the sufferer, later recognized as Silvio Ortega Martinez, was making an attempt to cross the road when the eastbound car, a white Chevrolet Malibu struck him.

In accordance with police, 28-year-old Janae Shaniece Lewis, of North Augusta, South Carolina is the registered driver of the car concerned within the crash.

She is now driving a silver Chevrolet Malibu, police mentioned, with a Georgia license plate of XJH246.

Lewis was final seen within the Augusta, Georgia, space, in response to police.
