Baseball Falls to Kentucky to Close Out Series
LEXINGTON – The College of South Carolina baseball crew fell, 9-2, to Kentucky Sunday afternoon (Could 7) at Kentucky Proud Park.
Dylan Brewer led Carolina’s offense with two hits and two RBI, together with his seventh house run of the season. Michael Braswell and Carson Hornung every had two hits.
Matthew Becker allowed three earned runs and 5 hits with 4 strikeouts and 5 walks in 4 innings, taking the loss.
Brewer’s house run tied the sport at two within the high of the third, however Kentucky answered with three within the third and two apiece within the seventh and eighth frames.
POSTGAME NOTES
- The Gamecocks have been swept for the primary time this season.
- Brewer prolonged his reached base streak to 21 video games.
- Gavin Casas was 5-for-12 within the Kentucky sequence with three house runs.
