Fox Information stars Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, and Jeanine Pirro have all sat for depositions in Dominion Voting Techniques’ $1.6-billion defamation lawsuit in opposition to the community, The Washington Put up reported. Fox Information and its on-air expertise, Dominion claimed, purveyed “a false story of election fraud with a view to serve its personal business functions.” Former on-air host and Trump confidant Lou Dobbs was deposed on Tuesday, whereas Carlson sat for questioning on Friday; Pirro and Fox & Mates host Steve Doocy had been deposed earlier this month, whereas daytime information host Dana Perino sat down final month. Fox Enterprise host Maria Bartiromo, in the meantime, is ready to be deposed on Sept. 8. Moreover, former information anchor Shepard Smith, who give up the community in 2019 after beefing with its right-wing opinion stars, sat down for a deposition. “We’re assured we’ll prevail as freedom of the press is foundational to our democracy and should be protected, along with the damages claims being outrageous, unsupported and never rooted in sound monetary evaluation,” Fox Information Media mentioned in a press release.
