‘The Gateway’ offers a million historical Oklahoma items

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – The Oklahoma Historic Society analysis division has partnered with the College of North Texas to create a web-based repository of Oklahoma historical past.

The Gateway is a device which lets you search and obtain tens of millions of historic Oklahoma newspaper pages, images, ebook pages, manuscripts and maps from the 1840s to the current day.

Officers say lots of the newspapers pre-date statehood and usually are not simply present in native library collections.
