In an try to restrict spam phone calls, the Oklahoma Legislature on Thursday gave closing passage to a invoice that would give residents potential recourse to robocalls and scams. 

The laws, from Rep. Logan Phillips, R-Mounds and Sen. Invoice Coleman, R-Ponca Metropolis, prohibits calls earlier than 8 a.m. and after 8 p.m. and people who use computerized dialing programs or pre-recorded or altered voices.
