Oklahoma City police training exercise helps first responders prepare for tornados
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Oklahoma Metropolis Police Division officers participated in twister drill coaching on Wednesday.
The objective of the coaching workouts was to make first responders higher ready in case a big twister hits Oklahoma Metropolis.
It’s essential that officers keep sharp on the life-saving abilities.
“Nothing helps us greater than coaching,” stated Capt. Paul Frederickson, Oklahoma Metropolis Police Division. “We reply the best way that we prepare, and the higher we prepare the higher our response. And as our company grows greater and greater with new individuals who haven’t seen these operations but, we have now to coach up our folks in order that we’re prepared to return collectively when emergency strikes.”
Wednesday’s wet climate introduced a way of realism to the coaching, and highlighted the difficulties officers could face throughout a pure catastrophe, police officers stated.
