16-Year-Old In Custody Following NW Oklahoma City Pursuit
One person is in custody after leading troopers on a chase in a stolen car, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the chase began after a 16-year-old driver fled an attempted traffic stop, reaching speeds over 100 mph.
OHP said the chase came to an end at around 1 a.m. Tuesday near Northwest 36th Street and East Overholser Drive.
Troopers on scene said they performed a tactical maneuver on the car to try and stop the driver, who was the only person inside the fleeing vehicle.
According to OHP, no one was hurt. The 16-year-old was taken into custody.
