‘We Built This’ exhibit in Raleigh highlights Black architects who helped build NC
RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) — A touring exhibit is giving individuals a possibility to study extra in regards to the Black architects who helped construct North Carolina.
The exhibit is on the historic Oak View County Park in east Raleigh.
The “We Constructed This” exhibit highlights greater than two dozen private profiles and historic context on key matters together with slavery and reconstruction; the founding of traditionally Black faculties and universities and Black church buildings; Jim Crow and segregation; and the rise of Black politicians and professionals.
The tour is free and runs by way of March 27.
