WATCH: North Carolina man stops car thief by jumping in window

ASHEBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A person stopped a thief from stealing his SUV at a Salvation Military in Asheboro, North Carolina, on Tuesday, Asheboro Police Division says.
Within the video, the SUV’s proprietor is seen operating as much as the automobile and leaping within the open window because the thief was driving away.
The person’s spouse tells FOX8 they had been inside the shop when somebody stored bumping into her husband to steal his keys. She says that after her husband received contained in the automobile, he hit the suspect within the face, put the SUV in park and pulled the keys out of the ignition.
The suspect reportedly ran from the automobile and into the woods.
Police are nonetheless working to determine the suspect.
