North Carolina woman identified as pedestrian hit, killed near Loris area

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – The Horry County Coroner’s Workplace launched the identify of a lady who was hit and killed final week close to the Loris space.

Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard recognized the pedestrian as 37-year-old Amy Jo Watts from Tabor Metropolis. Willard stated she died on the scene of a number of traumatic accidents.

LCpl. Tyler Tidwell with the South Carolina Freeway Patrol stated the wreck occurred at round 8:40 p.m. Thursday within the space of Sandy Bluff Highway close to Alpine Drive.

Tidwell stated a 2006 Buick was heading west on Sandy Bluff Highway when it ran off to the left and hit Watts who was strolling on the shoulder.

Grasp Trooper Brian Jones later confirmed that the driving force of the Buick, Jamie Lanier, is charged in connection to the wreck.
