North Carolina man identified as Beau Rivage armed robbery suspect, in custody

BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – Aime Joseph Gelinas, 44, of Charlotte, N.C., is in custody after being recognized as a suspect in an armed theft on the Beau Rivage.

At round 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning, Biloxi PD responded to stories of a theft on the on line casino. Police had been informed {that a} white male, later recognized as Gelinas, confirmed a weapon and demanded money from a cashier at a Cage. As Galinas tried to flee, he was stopped by patrons of the on line casino, permitting on line casino safety officers to detain him till Biloxi PD’s arrival. An undisclosed quantity was taken from the cage worker.

Gelinas is charged with armed theft and brought to the Harrison County Grownup Detention Middle, the place he’s being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond. If convicted, Gelinas may withstand life in jail.
