BENSON, N.C. — Authorities say a North Carolina man has died after a automotive crashed right into a shifting freight practice in Benson.
Information shops report that it occurred Friday in Johnston County, earlier than 6 p.m.
The North Carolina State Freeway Patrol recognized the person as 27-year-old Christopher Ray Valdez.
State Freeway Patrol says a practice was going north and the crossing guard was down when a driver went by the crossing guard. It was unclear why Valdez didn’t cease for the crossing guard.
