North Carolina dad, 4-month-old son, killed in shooting: ‘senseless act of violence’

A North Carolina father and his four-month-old son had been killed in a Sunday evening capturing, in line with police.
The Monroe Police Division responded to pictures fired at 329-A Morrow Ave shortly after 10 p.m. Officers discovered two gunshot victims: Darion McClendon, 25, and his four-month-old son, Da’mari McClendon.
Police stated each had died of gunshot wounds. No suspects have been arrested.
“This can be a very tough time for our group and our officers within the face of this mindless act of violence,” MPD Chief Bryan Gilliard stated in an announcement.
