North Carolina Central defeats Delaware State 74-55
DURHAM, N.C. — Brendan Medley-Bacon had 21 factors in North Carolina Central’s 74-55 win in opposition to Delaware State on Saturday evening.
Medley-Bacon added seven rebounds and 7 blocks for the Eagles (10-8, 3-1 Mid-Jap Athletic Convention). Marque Maultsby made 4 of 6 from 3-point vary and added 16 factors. Kris Monroe had 15 factors and 13 rebounds.
Khyrie Staten led the way in which for the Hornets (1-16, 0-4) with 13 factors and two steals. Raymond Somerville added 12 factors, six rebounds and three blocks for Delaware State. As well as, Jevin Muniz had 11 factors. The loss was the Hornets’ fifteenth in a row.
Each groups subsequent play Monday. North Carolina Central hosts Maryland-Jap Shore, and Delaware State visits South Carolina State.
